Dr. Hemlata Gupta is a graduate from GMCH, Chandigarh. She did her MS in ophthalmology from GMCH Chandigarh followed by senior residency at the same institute in comprehensive ophthalmology. She has also completed her DNB Ophthalmology in 2007.
Dr. Gupta has a special interest in refractive surgery and has done FAICO refractive surgery followed by advanced Lasik training from Baroda. She has a vast and comprehensive experience of managing all difficult and complicated cataract surgeries. She has presented papers and given instruction courses in various national and international conferences and co-authored many peer reviewed articles in various national and international journals. She had been co-editor of North Zone J of Ophthalmology, Delhi Journal of Ophthalmology and presently is Chief Editor of CFS Newsletter 'Spectrum'. She is a co-author of book chapter in refractive surgery book. She is a member of the All India Ophthalmological Society, Delhi ophthalmological society and North Zone Ophthalmological Society and Chandigarh Ophthalmological Society. She is a well-trained and skilled cataract and refractive surgeon.
