Dr. Ragesh R Nair

Dr Ragesh Radhakrishnan Nair completed his MBBS from Govt Medical college Calicut (Kerala).
He secured all India rank 8 in the nationwide MD/MS entrance examinations conducted by the prestigious AIIMS-New Delhi, the apex medical school of India. 
Then subsequently he did his MD Internal Medicine from AIIMS- New Delhi and was trained by the stalwarts of Internal Medicine at AIIMS. He topped the MD- Internal Medicine final exams at AIIMS- DelhiHe topped the nationwide DM- Clinical Hematology Entrance conducted by AIIMS- New Delhi and subsequently went on to complete his DM Clinical Hematology from AIIMS. 

At AIIMS, Hematology Dept he was mentored and trained by the world leaders in bone marrow transplant and Hemato-oncology. 

He specialises in the treatment of lymphomas, leukemias like AML/ALL/MPAL, CLL, myelomas, MDS, CML, Myelofibrosis, Polycythemia vera, Essential thrombocytosis, Aplastic anemia, ITP, autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA), assessment of anemia/cytopenia, bleeding disorders, DVT, hemoglobinopathy like sickle cell disease, thalassemia, evaluation of fever of unknown origin and other blood disorders. His main area of special interest are in the treatment of the most complex and challenging blood disorders including cancerous and non -cancerous diseases.
He performs bone marrow transplants (BMT) for malignant blood disorders (leukemia, lymphoma and plasma cell dyscrasias including myeloma), non-malignant blood disorders( Aplastic anemia), germ cell tumour, cases of multiple sclerosis & selected cases of systemic sclerosis. He performs bone marrow transplants/ hematopoietic stem cell transplants for cancerous and non-cancerous blood disorders with special focus on complex cases with allogenic (Matched sibling, haplo-identical) and autologous BMT
