During his tenure in Department of Ophthalmology, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital , Dr. Tarun was posted to Rotary Sunder Lal Eye Hospital, Chandausi, U.P for one month where he was actively involved in O.P.D, O.T, village camps, school screening programmes and sub clinics

Presently in Centre for Sight, he is managing all Anterior Segment, cataract and refractive surgery and Glaucoma cases. Apart from routine OPD diaganostic and therapeutic procedures, 

He is independently performing surgeries like; 

• Small incision cataract surgery with IOL
• Phacoemulsification surgery with IOL implant.
• C3R for keratoconus
• Refractive surgery –LASIK (customized), Blade free LASIK, PRK ,ICL, SMILE
• Glaucoma surgery – Trabeculectomy, Combined Phacotrab
• Pterygium Surgery with conjunctival auto graft.
• Surgical repair of  -     Globe perforation,  Lid lacerations

Till now, he has done more than 5000 phacoemulsification procedures with a very high success rate. He is presently doing all under topical anesthesia.  He has managed numerous complicated cataract cases like small pupil, hypermature/morgagnian cataracts, traumatic cataracts, uveitis, subluxated lens, posterior polar cataract, combined phaco-trabe, etc. He is independently performing Femto-laser assisted cataract surgery, Multifocal IOLs ,Toric IOLs and ICLs.

He has done more than  1500 refractive surgeries which includes customized Lasik, Bladeless LASIK, PRKs, ICL and SMILE procedures. All his patients are highly satisfied.
