Dr. K R Vasudevan

Dr. K R Vasudevan brings with him a vast experience of more than 1250 Liver Transplant surgeries in operating on cancer of liver, bile duct, pancreas & abdominal organs & he was a part of the initial team of surgeons responsible for initiating live donor liver transplants in India between 2004-07.
He is also involved in the training of doctors in Liver transplantation and his team has helped various doctors in initiating the transplant programmes at their respective centers across the globe.
His interests are in laparoscopic liver surgery, liver transplant on adults and children, Cadaver liver transplant, surgery for gallbladder and bile duct, laparoscopic pancreatic surgery, pancreas cancer and benign conditions. He was awarded by: Young Investigator Award by International Liver Transplant Society 2007 & was Designated Key Opinion Leader by The Transplantation Society (TTS) in 2010. He was Profiled by India Today as young doctor making a difference to the medical landscape in 2016.
