Khushnutbek Umurzakov from Uzbekistan share his experience about Dr Abhideep Chaudhary and his Team. The patient had water in his belly (ascites), jaundice, weakness, headache, difficulty in breathing. On evaluation, it was found that he has Liver Cirrhosis. His liver was failing and he was developing all these problems due to liver failure. However, on detailed evaluation, it was found out that his kidneys were also failing. Creatinine was 10 and he had problems with the heart as well because of a lot of water collecting in his body which was preventing his heart to function properly. SO he was immediately put in treatment and to stabilise him. And he was in a very critical situation and he had to be kept in the ICU for few days, stabilise him and bring to a condition where he could be operated for a liver transplant to save his life. He was a case of multiorgan failure. As his both liver and kidney were failing so the biggest change was to get a donor for his liver and another donor for his Kidney. It was a case of simultaneous Liver-Kidney transplant so from his family wife donated part of the Liver and his brother donated one Kidney to him.
His surgery was successful and he was kept in ICU for 8 days and discharged from hospital after 21 days of surgery. Now he is in good condition and ready to go back to his country i.e. Uzbekistan.
